VALGARÐUR BRAGASON




Nacido en Reikiavik en la primavera de 1971, Valgarður Bragason es poeta e hijo de la escritora islandesa Nína Björk Árnadóttir.
Desde muy joven mostró una enorme sensibilidad y aguda inteligencia. Rodeado continuamente de libros, de artistas y de escritores, practicó ballet durante más de diez años y estuvo siempre vinculado a las artes escénicas. Irrumpió en la escena literaria con una antología de poemas “Glitter” con apenas veinte años. Después vendrían “Cutest at the cinema”, “East” y “Well boys”, etiquetada como una suave poesía surrealista por los críticos islandeses.  
Tras el fallecimiento de su madre en el año 2000, Valgarður abandona la escritura durante más de una década.
Ahora vuelve a trabajar en una nueva antología en inglés “Thank you for the heart”.
